On the Surface

I found this roll of 15 foot flooring and since I didn't want any seams, even in the doorways to the bathroom and kitchen, it was a good find. It isn't a "statement" flooring product, but it looks okay and should be durable.
Three stripes.
I MUST paint that door soon!

Color Correction

I went back and forth about whether to just stay all white or not and decided a little tint wouldn't hurt anyone and might make it feel richer. So, I went with a light grey or "dove grey" if you will.

I think it looks good.
First the ceilings.
And a little help from a friend.
Used the sprayer for the lower part of the wall.
Then cut in the ceiling by hand.
And rolled the rest of the wall.
Starting to look livable.
Still need to paint the trim, but getting closer. At least the electricians can get in and do their thing. Also, I'm gonna go ahead and get the kitchen and bathroom floors done so I can finish the plumbing too.

A Slight Pause

So I took a little breather.

I have a new baby, which stole my heart and a lot of my time. And then the weather got pretty nasty. My handymen had done most of what they could or at least gave me the push I needed to get to the next stage, finishing. Man, I have learned so much, including the fact that all reputable handymen listen to classic rock. "Free Bird!"

Underlayment/subflooring is installed
Doors and windows are trimmed out.
Now I must paint so that I can install the flooring.
